What’s going on, internet? This is Andy from Ripwood Lacrosse, and I’m in the middle of a pretty crazy project for Blatant Lacrosse up in Long Island, New York. I’m making mini shafts. Lots of vibrant, colorful, mini shafts.
I start by cutting down trees myself in upstate Pennsylvania. After the wood is cut into planks, I take them back to my shop. Once the planks are properly cut into strips of wood, I saw them into rectangles and then, the shaper forms the flat sides on the shaft. What makes these shafts to special is that every color is hand applied to create a truly unique and original design. The heads are hand-tied with your choice of colors.
These sticks are a great gift for outdoor lacrosse in the summertime, and according to the guys at Blatant Lacrosse, kids are buying these up left and right. If you have any questions about the mini shafts, call or email, and we can create something just for you. I’m Andy from Ripwood Lacrosse. See you next time.
